Translation and Review Mode

The specialized translation and review mode in Localit.io provides efficient work for translators and editors with an optimized interface.

Launching Modes

Entering Translation Mode

1. Click the "Translate" button in the top panel

2. Select "Translation Mode"

3. Set parameters:

   • Source language (e.g., English)

   • Target language (e.g., Spanish)

   • (Optional) Enable "Show other translations" for comparison

Entering Review Mode

1. Click the "Translate" button in the top panel

2. Select "Review Mode"

3. Set parameters:

   • Source language (e.g., English)

   • Target language (e.g., Spanish)

   • (Optional) Enable "Show other translations" for comparison

Translation/Review Mode Interface

Left Panel

• Key list

• Search by name

• Sorting: by date (newest → oldest) and by status: Confirmed, Untranslated, Needs attention

Central Panel

Source Text

• Copy

• Edit

• Key link

• Click on key name → open detailed key page in new tab

• Change status

• View translation in another language (optional)

Translation Field

• Toggle placeholders and tags display

• Insert source text

• Copy

• Google automatic translation

• Change status

Right Panel

• Team comments (can mention colleague via @)

• System logs: all actions with key and translation are logged

Tip: The right panel can be collapsed for more space.
